Keeping Track of CVG2009 Online!

With CONvergence around the corner, we wanted to let you know about some ways to use the internet during the convention. Our convention schedule, http://schedule.convergence-con.org has over 300 people with accounts. You can share your schedule with your friends and plan your convention ahead of time. If you are using Twitter, you can follow our convention twitter feed at http://www.twitter.com/CONvergenceCon. We encourage using #cvg2009 as a tag as well! If you are using Facebook, become a fan of Connie: http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/pages/Connie/181232975550?ref=ts or join the CONvergence group: http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/group.php?gid=2204 992216&ref=ts You can also find video channels for CONvergence at http://vimeo.com/convergence and http://www.youtube.com/user/convergencecon We also encourage that you use cvg2009 as a tag on sites like flickr: http://www.flickr.com/search/?w=all&q=cvg2009 We’re looking forward to all of the ways for you to share your convention experience online!

Don’t Forget To Register!

The last day to Pre-Register for CONvergence is May 15th, 2009. The price goes up to the at-the-door price, and so it is cheaper — and easier — to register now!

The Current Status of the Schedule

We’re still organizing the data on the schedule.  We’re still three months away from the convention, and at this point we haven’t announced this site to more than a group of initial beta testers, directors, and the events division.  And this part of the site is even less publicized at this point.

I’m starting to figure out how to post the 24 hour places like Operations, Consuite, and F2E2.  I like to list that they are active every day, after all, and it makes sense to start them each day in the early morning hours.  Midnight, after all, is really the end of a day, and not the start of a new one.
